In Color

These were taken today. I apologize that there are so many, I just couldn't stop! I am in love with this season. I work in an office and today we had a work retreat up the canyon at Aspen Grove. We had a little bit of free time, so I grabbed my camera. It isn't even the thick of the Fall season yet, and the colors are so vibrant. These weeks are going to go by SO fast. This is in the mountains and there is still a lot of green, but soon even the orange will be gone. Now if only I had some people to put in these pictures...

If you know anyone who will soon be wanting their pictures taken, tell them not to wait any longer! I hope you will give them my number. :)

My Sister's Birthday

Heartbreaker

I will use this cute boy as my picture for the day since I have been editing all night rather than taking photos! I took family shots for a gorgeous big group a few weeks back, but I got so busy that I never posted them! I will have to post more later. Until then, goodnight!

Picture of the Day

I had this idea, and this might be a lofty goal, but I want to take at least one good picture every day. Okay...maybe just every week day? Or every other day? We'll see how it goes. The point is, I want to take lots of photos besides when I have something scheduled to shoot. Today was such a perfect second day of Fall! It was really chilly and the trees on the mountains are so perfectly orange, but I haven't had a chance to go up the canyon and I don't want to miss the colors, they are too pretty! So today after work I had a minute, so I took some snapshots of Y Mountain from my parking lot. It really is not the most special composition, but if you zoom in, you can see the orange trees. You can barely see the "Y" on the right. Luckily there is still a lot of green, so I think I still have time to go up the canyon before the leaves are gone.

The valley will be orange soon too!

Last Fall, this tree in our parking lot was one of the prettiest when it was all yellow, and it was one of the last to die for winter. So this year: A documentary on the evolution of this tree.

I wonder what I will do with myself if we ever move somewhere without 4 seasons! ;)

Kira & Joe's Wedding- 9.1.07

I loved LOVED Kira and Joe's wedding. The Canterbury Place in Bountiful is a total hot spot for receptions that I have never seen before; it's goregeous. The ceremony and reception were so close together that we unfortunately didn't have a lot of time for bride and groom photos, but we had fun anyway. Here's a sampling!
