Stephanie & Rob {Engagements}

So I'm not sure how I feel about the big pictures, but I'm experimenting! What do you think? I'm sorry they link to photobucket, but it works for now. This cute couple is getting married in Mesa in December. Won't that be nice?! And thanks to the referral from my bff Emily, I got to take their engagements. I love referrals and I love engagements! The sun was shining super bright, something that Utah can't seem to avoid the last few weeks, and it was also freezing, a combination that I'm trying to get used to with the camera. But we had fun! (And my friends, I have a new lens, yay.) I definitely had a blast with these guys. Thank you Stephanie and Rob!

Blackhurst Family

I had met a few members of the Blackhurst family during the last few years through my good friend KaLee. What would I do without such great friends?! They wanted some traditional family photos for Christmas, so of course I was thrilled to take them, aren't they an attractive bunch? They chose such a great location, this barn right near their home where they grew up. It was awesome. Taking pictures with a lot of sun and a lot of people can come with its challenges, but of course the kids were incredibly cute and everyone was so great and so wonderful! I loved it!

Rebeca & David 11.10.07

Last Saturday I was so amazingly lucky to assist my friend Stacy of Three Winks Studio. She invited me to come along and second shoot at Rebeca and David's wedding at the Timpanogos Temple, and I can't tell you how excited I was. It was awesome, I tried a few new camera settings and she even allowed me to shoot with one of her pro lenses, which was so helpful being in the market for one. I helped out where I could, but I mostly just enjoyed learning from the best.

Cindy & Chad

I felt extremely lucky to photograph Cindy and Chad's engagements. Cindy's sister Becky is one of my most favorite friends in the whole world, I can't tell you how important these were to me! :) This session was my first after daylight savings ended so it threw us for a loop as the sun starting to disappear so quickly. But I think a few turned out alright, and fortunately they were insanely wonderful to work with; thanks you guys!!
