amy.vanessa.darrian.megan.

i straight up asked these girls if they would be up for a photoshoot. amy & vanessa are some of my favorite roommates ever in college. i was insanely spoiled with the cutest roommates ever. i totally didn't belong, but they took me anyway. :) i also fell in love with vanessa's family, who also took us in during that crazy year, when we needed a home away from home. we have since all married and will soon go in a billion directions. her sister darrian and best friend megan are graduating seniors this year. so beautiful.

so after my relentless prodding, we went out and took some pics. they were all the most perfect subjects ever. i knew they would be, but wow.

we also had the sweetest light and i got to use my new umbrella. it was awesome.

kellie & sebastián's wedding

Forgive me, I'm not the best writer when it's so late, but I have so much to say about this wedding!

Kellie and Sebastián are incredible. I was thrilled and honored to attend their wedding in my hometown of Colorado a few weeks ago.

They met at the University of Denver, both as skilled musicians. Kellie studied music, and is an especially talented opera singer, while Sebastián studied classical guitar and Japanese. They dated for about three years before the big day. Sebastián went to Japan for at least a year, they continued dating, and Sebastián proposed when Kellie visited him in Japan! They have since fallen in love with Japan and will spend the next few years there, where Sebastián will teach Japanese! I love their story. (i hope i got it all right!) :)

They both worked so hard to plan this beautiful wedding in Morrison, Colorado. Willow Ridge Manor was perfect. They wanted to incorporate several traditions from Kellie's Polish heritage and Sebastián's Spanish heritage...some traditions of which which you can see in the photos. Their music background explains the amazing string quartet who played during the ceremony, as well as other accomplished musicians and friends who performed.

The reception was a blast. Everyone danced like crazy all night. (p.s. I took so many pictures, I had to start shooting in JPEG!!! yikes.) The DJ's were great. Kellie gave them the greatest playlist- I totally want a copy of that list. It was awesome.

And thankfully, although it had been raining all week, it turned out to be the most beautiful day.

The bride and groom and their families, wedding party, and guests were all so wonderful. Thank you for allowing me to be there!
