Karen and her sisters are some of my greatest friends (and my sisters' greatest friends) from high school. I was so excited to hear that Karen was engaged, and even more excited when they contacted me! :) I couldn't wait to take their engagements out here in Colorado. They chose the University of Denver campus as their location, where Karen recently graduated from -- gorgeous. And of course, they are the cutest...

Cynthia and Stephen wanted portraits to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, but were unable to get them done until this year- near their 26th wedding anniversary. They love the beautiful outdoors here in Colorado so they decided to take their photographs at Bear Creek Lake Park and Red Rocks Amphitheater- two perfect locations near where I grew up. They really are such an amazing couple. They were so much fun to photograph, I am so grateful they found me out here! Cynthia and Stephen have been wonderful friends to Amberlyn, whose engagements I took in May, and who's wedding I'm shooting tonight and tomorrow here in Denver! I love connections. :)

One of my best friends from college and her little family! They were right in the middle of traveling from California to Wyoming via plane and car, during Denver's rush-hour traffic, after stopping to eat outside in the hot afternoon sun, all just to visit me for a few short hours- what a perfect time to take some pictures! ;) It was so great to see them, I miss them tons.

Easton loved it when we put him in the bare grass... ;) Just too cute...
